THE PRIDE OF THE WOLVERINES ARRIVES IN WHITECOURT!

TEAM MASCOT TAKES UP RESIDENCE IN THE SCOTT SAFETY CENTRE

He's furry, he growls and WINS all over!

The Whitecourt Wolverines today announced that sometime during the night a large, mean, growling creature was seen entering town keeping to the shadows so as not to be seen by local Police or S.C.P.A officials.

The club later identified the creature as being the team mascot who has found a dark quiet room within the arena where he will not likely be disturbed.

The "official" name of the mascot has not been selected as of yet but it is expected that his real identity will be revealed before the N.W.J.H.L Game vs Sexsmith via local media and this website.

Other local furry creatures could not be found for comment as it is believed that they had left town after hearing that the streets, local schools and the arena were now being prowled by the Wolverine Mascot who is said to be very hungry for wins and another Championship.
