LOCAL FAMILY FINDS RELIEF WITH THE WOLVERINES

WOLVERINES LINK WITH EXIT REALTY TO HELP LOCAL FAMILY

VICTIMS OF FIRE MEET NEW "HOCKEY FRIENDS"

On Monday, December 12th a local family of 7 lost everyting in a house fire. Paul & Sue Chauvet of Exit Realty seeing a need established a fund and led the charge to help out the family with searching for accomodations, clothes and a host of other items all of which were lost in the fire that devastated the family home.

Brent Stark of the Stark Sports Society having heard of the family's plight discussed the issue with fellow board members and it was quickly decided that the proceeds from Friday nights game should go to the family which included donations at the door plus the 50/50 draw.

The winner of the 50/50 draw also donated his $500 winnings to the family. The $500 was a guaranteed pot donated by Scott Safety Supply Services Ltd.

By evenings end, approx $3000 was raised to add to the fund for the family to use in meeting immediate needs.

The Wolverines are proud to have been able to help out with the initiative and thank Paul & Sue for the efforts in assisting a family in need.
